Chief Executive Officer of Families in Grief (FiG)

£44,539 pro-rata (Actual £35,631) 30 hours per week

We are seeking a dynamic, visionary and enthusiastic CEO to lead our organisation at this exciting time.

Ideally we are looking for someone with marketing and fundraising experience, with a passion for helping bereaved children and families and who is willing to shout about it at every opportunity.

The successful candidate will lead and organise the charity, taking responsibility for operations, fundraising and financial management. You will work closely with the Trustees to develop, refine, and deliver our organisational strategy, identifying and implementing best practices from across the sector.

You will be an excellent communicator and will champion the charity both publicly and internally. You will take the lead on expanding the staff team as well as managing FiG’s volunteers, ensuring the delivery of an exceptional service to bereaved families.

A proactive attitude and positive approach to your work will be vital in what we hope will be a rewarding and challenging role.

We are committed to providing equal opportunities to all.  We welcome applications from candidates of all backgrounds.

We operate safer recruitment checks as part of our applications process. All employment is subject to suitable references. You will be required to undertake a DBS check before taking on this role.  This position is funded by The National Lottery.
