Sadie Swims for FiG

Sadie Davies swum from Hartland Point to Lundy Island for Families in Grief, Surfers Against Sewage and The Wave Project.

She completed the feat in just under nine hours, making her just the fourth person to do so, and the first woman ever to swim it!

Congratulations Sadie!

Lundy is a “very important” place for Sadie as she spent large parts of her childhood there with her father, a local scuba diver.

The family scattered their father’s ashes on the island after he died. She said “It felt like I was swimming out there to him today,”

Thank you Sadie for raising money for us. You are an inspiration!
